Protect your work
It seems to protect the paint on my project. You have to be careful not to get too aggressive with it or else it'll muddy up the paint you're covering.

Time and Effort Saving Product: Liquitex Varnish
I paint with acrylic paint. I love the medium, but dislike how long it takes to completely dry, and not be sticky. The Liquitex Matte Varnish has saved my time and kept my paintings safe.
