How do I return items I purchased online?
Store pickup items can be returned to any Michaels store. Please bring your order summary with the items that you want to return. For shipped orders, you have the option to either return to your local store or ship the items back.

How do I designate curbside pickup for my online order?
All store pickup orders have the option for curbside pickup. Order your favorite supplies as store pickup, and when your order is ready, we will send you a notification email that includes a number to call for curbside assistance!
I placed an in-store/curbside pick-up order, how do I know when my order is ready for pick-up?
You will receive an email once your items are available to pick up. Get same day pick up on orders placed by 3pm!
How do I add a person to pick-up my order?
You will have the opportunity during checkout to designate an additional pickup person and we will notify you both when the order is ready. To make an addition after the order has been placed, visit your Order History, select your order details and you will see an option to add a pickup person! Please note: Whoever is picking up the order will need to bring a valid driver's license or government issued ID.
Can I cancel my order?
Items purchased online for in store or curbside pickup can be cancelled through Track your order. Ship to home orders can only be cancelled within the first hour of being placed. Please Note: Mixed orders that contain both store pickup and ship to home items can only be cancelled within the first 5-15 minutes. After this time, the order must be canceled through Customer Care. We are only able to cancel the store pickup items and the ship to home portion of the order will process. For more information, please Contact us.

Do I have to register for a Michaels.com account to place an online order?
No. You have the option to check out as a guest; creating an account is optional. Signing up for a Michaels.com account is a convenient way to keep track of your order history, and favorite products. A Michaels.com account is required to link any Rewards information online.
Can I shop Online through your App?
Yes! If you are experiencing issues, please ensure you have the most updated version of the app installed.
When will my order be charged?
A pending authorization will appear on your online statement when the order is placed. Items will be charged or posted when they are ready for pickup in store or when they are shipped. You may see multiple charges if your order is split into multiple shipments or delivery methods.
How many different payments methods are allowed per online order?
You can use up to two different payment methods per order. Please note: You can apply up to two gift cards in addition to one credit card payment as needed to complete your order. Paypal orders will only allow for one payment method.
Can I use a credit card gift card for my online payment?
Yes. We suggest you register the card with the company’s site and then you can use this in the credit card payment field. Please note: Refunds are issued based on the original form of payment. Registering your card ensures you can recover the funds if your order is canceled or refunded.
How do I get free shipping for my online order?
We sometimes offer free shipping for ship to home orders with subtotals over $59. Store pickup and expedited shipping item totals do not qualify towards this minimum threshold. I received part of my order. Where are my other items?
Orders containing multiple items may arrive in one or more shipments and you will receive separate emails with individual tracking numbers. Items may be shipping from multiple warehouses, vendors, or stores. This may result in different delivery timing. Track Your Order here!
How do I return my purchase?
Items that are picked up in store can be returned to any Michaels store. Please bring your order summary with the items that you want to return. Why was my order canceled?
Orders may be cancelled due to product availability or because we are unable to successfully process the payment. For store pickup or curbside orders, the order may also be cancelled if it isn’t picked up within 5 business days.
Do you refund shipping charges for returns?
We offer refunds on shipping charges for damaged or lost shipments.
Can I change the shipping location on my order?
No. We are not able to edit the shipping address on completed orders.
Why am I being charged for additional shipping?

What do I bring when picking up my order?

How long do I have to pick up my order?
We will keep your order in store for 5 business days. If it’s not picked up, it will be canceled, and your payment will be refunded. Need to extend your pickup time? You may do this through your order details available in your Order History.
How can I extend my order pick-up time?
You may extend the pickup time for your in store order by going into your Order History and selecting the order details. Update the pickup time from within these details.
What happens if I don’t pick up my order?
After 5 days, your items will be returned to store inventory and you will receive a refund.
Can someone else pick up my order?

No. We only allow one pickup location per order. Please note, pick up is free! You can place multiple separate orders without a cost if you need to do more than one pickup location based on item availability.
Can I change my pickup location after placing my order?
No, items must be picked up at the location that was selected when the order was placed. If you selected the wrong store, you may cancel from Track Your Order and place a new order.
How do I know when my order is ready to be picked up?

Are all products eligible for curbside pickup?
We have a huge selection of items that are available for store pickup. We also have some items that are online only or in store only, which are not available for store pickup. Eligibility depends on the store's inventory and product assortment.
How do I know if a product is eligible for Curbside Pickup?
Shipping and pickup methods are shown on our product detail pages and in the shopping cart before checkout. Look for items marked FREE Store Pickup.
Yes! You can split your order to contain both store pickup and ship to home items. Please note, you can only select one pickup location per order and store pickup items do not count towards totals for free shipping promotions.

When will I be charged for my curbside pickup items?
Charges are applied once you receive your “Great news! Your order is ready for in-store pickup” email. If you haven't picked up your order after 5 days, your order will be refunded.
How do I know if my order is on its way?
You will receive an initial email order confirmation and then be contacted directly via text message with updates on your order once it has been picked up by the delivery driver.
What is your delivery range?
There is no set distance, however, the distance is incorporated into the price calculation for same day deliveries. You will see a delivery estimate prior to completing your order. Same day delivery orders must be placed by 1pm.
Can you cancel my Same Day Delivery order?
We can cancel some same day delivery orders. Once the order has been queued for pick-up we can attempt to cancel, however, if we are unable to, the order will deliver as scheduled. If you’d like to cancel, please Contact us.
What is your online return policy?
If your Michaels.com purchase does not meet your satisfaction, you may return it within 2 months (60 days) of purchase. To return an item, the item must be new, unused and in its original packaging. I received the wrong items, or they came in damaged. How do I get them replaced?

When will I receive my refund?
We process returns within 1-2 business days. The refund time is dependent on your financial institution, usually 3-5 business days. Please note: For ship to warehouse returns, we do not process until we receive the items.
My order was cancelled. When will the pending hold be released?
We process cancellations immediately. The authorization hold will be released by your financial institution and usually processes within 3-7 days but can take up to 30 business days. For assistance on releasing authorization holds, please contact your financial institution directly.
How do I sign up to be a Rewards member?
