Step 1 |
Cut 24" [60.96 cm] of 20 gauge tarnish resistant Silver wire. |
Step 2 |
Thread the rose bead onto the middle of the wire and place the rose up against the mandrel on the size marking the spot of one size bigger than the size of the ring you want to make. |
Step 3 |
Wrap the wires that are exiting the bead in opposite directions around the mandrel four times to create the band. |
Step 4 |
Wrap the wires around the base of the bead to create a “nest” around the base of the bead. |
Step 5 |
Add seed beads to the wires in the final wrap around the bead. |
Step 6 |
Bend the wires in opposite directions next to the wire wraps. |
Step 7 |
Slide the ring off of the mandrel. |
Step 8 |
Use the ends of the wires to wrap around the band portion of the ring at least three times. |
Step 9 |
Trim the tails of the wire on the outer edge of the ring band. |
Step 10 |
Slide the ring back onto the mandrel to bring it back into a round shape and to tighten it over the size marker on the mandrel. |
