Great for making your master piece
I love this name brand I buy this brand in a few things like graphite pencils and more . But these pencils work great they blend well as well and they are vibrant. Great for making works of art. I'll be buying them again.

Staedtler 72 Triangular Pencils: Pros/Cons/Summary
Summary:
I was excited to find a good deal with the Staedtler 72 pencils. However, the lower price point unfortunately corresponded with lower quality, as these pencils' vibrant colors are not labeled and do not layer very well. Although these did not work for my purposes, they may be a great set for a beginner, non-colorblind person, or for children. The colors were vibrant and the core was very durable, housed in a triangular shaped strong wood casing which meant your pencils would not break and don't roll away.

Details:
My product was Staedtler 72 set of Colored Pencils. I was excited to make this purchase as they were more cost effective than Prismacolor, and I hadn't tried this brand before. It wasn't until later that evening that I discovered these pencils had no color-identification markings. This makes life extremely difficult, as I am color-blind and working toward building my confidence with using color in my artwork. Also these pencils do not layer very well, and tend to scratch the paper.
Resolution:
I ended up returning the Staedtler set and buying a more expensive set (Prismacolor Premiere) that have the qualities I am looking for. The Michaels employees at my local store were very helpful, which made the prcess easy.

Incredibly vibrant colors: the only reason I haven’t purchased prior to s visit I couldn’t find a pencil sharpener to it until I read tat a large regular one will work. I now have may types of pencils for coloring

Really good product
Beautiful colors, great pay off. Didn't immediately break with my heavy hand so that's a huge plus. Great for getting different effects with different pressure, blended easily with my finger.

Not bad, but…
Colours are nice, but some pencils keep breaking as I sharpen them. Also, it would be nice if the packaging served as a storage case too.
