Anodized Aluminum Crochet Hook by Loops & Threads® is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 111.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from As always how it's handled. Most small hooks will bend. On C or smaller get a STEEL hook to hold up under hard use. Plastic will break if you work hard. Aluminum is great on about D or larger. How you work should determine the composition of the hook or needle. Style of hook can be vital depending on your choice of materials. Personally I prefer Susan Bates most of the time. Ask people who crochet to recommend a particular size and/or style. Sorry, sometimes the directions are not right for your style of work. I crochet tight stitches so need a larger hook to get the correct size of stitch. The blanket I'm whirling on Sat's use an H or I hook, I'm using an M to get the size of stitch the directions call for. Please don't blame the equipment because you work a little differently. Change your equipment to match your needs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong size The packaging says this is a "G hook, 4.5mm". All other crochet hooks that are 4.5mm are size 7 hooks. I took a chance. When measured at home with a micrometer, this is a true size G hook, 4.0mm. DO NOT BUY if you want a Size 7 - 4.5mm hook.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from My first crochet hook Pros: Great for the price. Good to start out with if you want to try out crochet and see if you like it. I've made several projects using a 5.5mm hook so far. Cons: As I build my skills and get faster and more vigorous with pumping out stitches, I find that my wrists can sometimes get tired while using this hook. The rounded tip can also be difficult to stick into tighter stitches, like when you're doing something like the waistcoat stitch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great N Hook I don't know why some say this product is garbage, wrong size and bendable. This N hook is strong and the exact size it should be. I would definitely purchase from this company again. Great hook!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Crochet Hooks! Best design, the nose is the right length to keep yarn on and the head is pointed enough to get through stitches. I've been crocheting for 48 years these are the best hooks I've used, very smooth, light weight. N10mm has a little weight but that's my go to hook. I prefer them to Boye or Bates. Boye used to be very good back in the day but they've changed the hook shape, too rounded and nose is too short...bad decision!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fine for larger sizes I've gotten this brand in the larger sizes and have no complaints, but I recently purchased a 2.25 mm hook and it bends very easily on the flat part and is essentially unusable. I would recommend sticking to larger sizes for this particular brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage I was leary about purchasing these as they did not look true to size. I got them home and checked them in my gauge checker. The "E" is the correct size; HOWEVER, the head fits in the 3.75 mm hole. The "C" is marked as a 2.75 mm but is a 3 mm, AND the head of it is large enough that it also fits in the 3.75 mm hole. I will be returning these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bends at the slightest pull I bought a size B hook in store for a project, but as soon as I started using it, I could feel the hook bending as I pulled the yarn. After a short while I held it in both hands and flexed it a little to see if it was actually bending or just my imagination. I was surprised when I easily bent it in half! Completely not worth the money. Buy a steel hook that will actually hold up to use.
