tropical bridal bouquet
Step 1 |
First, use a green tropical palm bush as your base. Open the stems to allow for the space to add in other stems. |
Step 2 |
Cut the stems off each bush, as close to the base as possible, and place them in the middle of the greenery. |
Step 3 |
Continue to add greenery, succulents and flowers to your hand as you build a bundle. Keep in mind the front is facing you, but the bouquet will be seen from all angles. Some stems will need to be bent so they help create this draped shape. Add in some taller and daintier floral accents along with some delicate greenery vines to help create movement to finish the look. |
Step 4 |
Once you have a bundle you like, wrap the stems with wire and twist to hold. Cover the wire with layers of floral tape. |
Step 5 |
Trim the end of all stems to one length with a wire cutter. |
Step 6 |
Layer ribbons that accent your bridal party. Wrap around the stems, overlapping with an "X" configuration, from top to bottom and back up to the top. Tie a double knot to secure and leave the tails long. |
