Step 1

First, make bead links with your (4) nuggets, (8) white rondelles (two beads per link) , (4) faceted oval hematite beads and (8) Silver agate stones.
TIP: To make bead links:

  • Slide a bead onto an eye pin.
  • Bend the wire of the eye pin in a 90° angle just above the bead.
  • Grasp the eye pin wire, about 3/8"-½" [0.3 cm - 1.3 cm] from the bend, between the jaws of your round nose pliers.
  • Rotate the pliers toward you, keeping a firm grip on the wire, until a small loop is formed. Trim excess wire.
Step 2

Remove 20 three bead-link sections from the beaded chain, (2) two bead-link sections and (2) one bead-link section.

Step 3

Assemble your necklace in two layers. Start from the middle of the longer layer and work out; then repeat for the shorter layer.
TIP: To link, carefully open a loop. Slide in the loop of the attaching link and close first loop.

Step 4

Remove a 10" [25.4 cm] section of Silver link chain. Separate into two even sections. On one section, add a jump ring to one end. On the other section, add a jump ring with a lobster clasp.

Step 5
To assemble, use jump rings to add the two bead-link layers to the other end of each chain piece.
