| Step 1 |
| Cut floral foam to fit inside the galvanized bucket. Use hot glue to hold the foam in place. |
| Step 2 |
Begin your arrangement with the largest focal bloom which is the sunflower. Cut the stem so it is fairly low in the arrangement. TIP: Use strong wire cutters to cut the stems in this arrangement. |
| Step 3 |
Next, add greenery and allow it to reach over the sides creating an asymmetrical look. TIP: Remember to bend or curve the stems slightly before placing them in the floral foam as this is what makes a faux stem look as it does in nature as well as creates interest to the overall arrangement. |
| Step 4 |
Measure the medium blooms prior to cutting the stems by simply holding them up to the container. Determine where you would like them in the overall arrangement. Keep some of the stems long and draped while using others as fillers around the focal point. TIP: Once you have your arrangement put together, take a picture and look at the arrangement as a whole. Make any adjustments until you are happy with the overall look. |
