Collier lariat avec pampille ombrée
Étape 1 |
First, make dangles for your tassel with bicone beads. Slide beads onto a headpin. Bend the wire of the headpin in a 90° angle just above the last bead. Grasp the headpin wire, about 3/8"-½" [0.3 cm-1.3 cm] from the bend, between the jaws of your round nose pliers. Rotate the pliers toward you, keeping a firm grip on the wire, until a small loop is formed. Trim excess wire. |
Étape 2 |
Remove the clasp and attachment from each end of a necklace. Set aside for now. |
Étape 3 |
Cut small sections of chain, at different lengths, one for each bead dangle. Carefully open the loop at the top of each bead link, add a chain piece, then close the loop. |
Étape 4 |
Hang all the chain pieces from one jump ring to form your tassel. |
Étape 5 |
Cut two 7½" [19.1 cm] sections from the chain. Use a jump ring to attach one end of each to the jump ring on your tassel. |
Étape 6 |
Thread the open end of your chain through the metal bracket on the back of your heart slider. Thread from the bottom so the open ends of the chain is coming out from the top. Slide all the way until the jump rings are in the bracket. |
Étape 7 |
Replace your clasp and connection piece to the ends of your chain. |
