Boîte-cadre décorée de verdure printanière en papier
Étape 1 |
First, click here for the design in Cricut® Design Space™. |
Étape 2 |
Size the designs, if desired, to fit your shadow box. |
Étape 3 |
Click ‘Make It’ in the upper right corner of your screen. |
Étape 4 |
Now, click ‘Continue’ in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose the correct material. |
Étape 5 |
Place the cardstock onto your cutting mat. Load the mat into your Cricut® machine, then press the blinking Cricut® icon to start cutting. |
Étape 6 |
Once your machine is done cutting each layer, carefully peel the cut design from the mat. You can use your weeder tool to help with the detail areas. Set aside. |
Étape 7 |
To make the background for the shadow box, take a piece of the Yupo® paper and use Stream and Butterscotch alcohol inks to create your design. Let dry. |
Étape 8 |
Next, you will make a print of your background which will result in a softer, more subtle version of your original. To do this, squeeze out some of the alcohol lift from the bottle and roll the brayer through it to completely cover the brayer. Now, roll the brayer over the ink background, then take white cardstock and press it down. Lift it off, then press the area of the cardstock that is still blank onto an area of the inked piece. |
Étape 9 |
Remove the back of the shadow box and adhere the background to the inside-surface (of the back piece). |
Étape 10 |
Now, arrange your plants as desired on the background piece but do not adhere yet, just plan the placement. |
Étape 11 |
Adhere the plants to the background using adhesive foam squares so they pop up from the background. |
Étape 12 |
Determine the shapes of the pots for your plants and cut them out of kraft cardstock. Embellish the pots with washi tape. You will want to slightly roll the paper pots so that they have some dimension. To attach them to your plants, run a thin line of hot glue along one edge and stick it into place, then glue the other side down. |
Étape 13 |
Once you have everything attached, add the twine to the hanging basket. Hot glue one end of the twine to the inside of the paper pot and the other end can extend to the top of the back and glue in place. |
Étape 14 |
Insert the back into the shadow box frame. |
