wintery salt painting
Step 1 |
Draw your idea out onto watercolour paper. |
Step 2 |
Go over the drawing with glue, gently squeezing it from the bottle to follow your lines. |
Step 3 |
Sprinkle salt over the glue and tap off the excess salt. |
Step 4 |
Now, add some water to your watercolour paints with your paintbrush so that you make a puddle. Pick up some of the colour with your paintbrush, touch your brush to the salt/glue lines and watch as the paint wicks into the salt. Continue this technique for your entire painting. |
Step 5 |
For white snow, simply add glue to the entire area and add salt. Let dry completely. |
