Step 1 |
First, add water to a water brush. Gently squeeze a little water onto a paint pan to water-down the colour. Pick up some colour with your water brush and paint a wood circle. Repeat for each wood circle in desired colours from the watercolour paint set. Set aside to dry. |
Step 2 |
Now, click here for the design in Cricut® Design Space™. Adjust the size of the design, if needed, then click ‘Make It’ in the upper right corner of your screen. |
Step 3 |
Mirror the images in the left panel and then click ‘Continue’ in the lower right corner of your screen. |
Step 4 |
Place heat transfer vinyl (HTV), shiny-side down, onto your cutting mat and load it into your Cricut® machine. Select the correct material and follow the prompts to cut out your design. |
Step 5 |
Unload your mat and then use scissors to cut your design from the HTV roll. Next, use your weeder tool to remove all the excess material around and inside the icons. You’ll be left with just the reversed design on the clear plastic carrier sheet, which is slightly sticky. Also, cut apart the design so each icon is on an individual carrier piece. |
Step 6 |
Preheat your EasyPress Mini™ to the medium setting. |
Step 7 |
Place your circles on top of your EasyPress™ mat and then preheat the surface for 5 seconds. |
Step 8 |
Place each design, so it’s sticky-side down, onto a circle piece. You should be able to see the layer through the carrier sheet, just as it will appear once ironed. |
Step 9 |
Place your EasyPress Mini™ on top of the design, apply firm pressure and constant movement over your design for 40 seconds. |
Step 10 |
Allow it to cool so it is warm to touch and peel off the carrier sheet. |
Step 11 |
Punch a hole in the top of your wood circles with hole punch pliers. |
Step 12 |
Add a jump ring to each basswood circle. |
Step 13 |
Now, thread three bicone crystals onto a hoop earring, slide onto a jump ring attached to a wood circle and then three more bicone crystals. |
