These cute paper rainbows are a great addition to a party, a classroom or anywhere you want to add a whimsical touch. You can even turn them into placecards by adding a name to the clouds!

Print Project

Step 1

Click here for the design in Cricut® Design Space™.

Step 2

Click ‘Make It’ in the upper right corner of your screen.

Step 3

Now, click ‘Continue’ in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose the correct material.

Step 4

Place the cardstock onto your cutting mat. Load the mat into your Cricut® machine, then press the blinking Cricut® icon to start cutting.

Step 5

Next, carefully peel the strips and clouds from the mat. Continue to cut additional strips to make a rainbow.

Step 6

Line up the strips in your hand in rainbow order and staple one end. Then, line up the other end of the strips and staple to make the rainbow shape.
TIP: Rainbow order is: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.

Step 7

Take the extra purple strip and fold the ends in about ¼" [0.6 cm] and glue to the inside, bottom of each side of the rainbow. This will allow the rainbow to stand up and will also help to retain the arc shape.

Step 8
Glue the clouds to the bottom, front of each side of the rainbow.
