spring thank you card
Step 1 |
Use the ink blending tool to blend the oxide ink onto white shimmer cardstock. You are going to make a sheet that you will cut the leaves from. Blend as desired, then spritz and drip water onto the inks on the paper and watch them react to the water. Let the paper dry. |
Step 2 |
Now, freehand cut leaves in different sizes. To cut a leaf as shown, you will just make two cuts like a parenthesis in opposite directions. You can make the leaves long and narrow or short and stubby. You'll need to cut out 20-25 leaves. |
Step 3 |
Now, arrange the leaves on the card. Once you are happy with the arrangement, glue them in place. Let dry. |
Step 4 |
Stamp the word "Thanks" onto a small piece of white shimmer cardstock, then trim out. Glue it in place on your card. Let dry. |
Step 5 |
Embellish your card by adding strips of the ink cardstock at the top and bottom of the card. |
