Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Soft Pastels by Artist's Loft! These Soft Color Pastels by Artist's Loft were so easy to use! We used them to teach a pastel painting class for beginners...and they loved them! Purchasing two sets of 24 each, I found we had plenty of pastels to go around for a class of 16. The group was led by a pastels expert who demonstrated color matching and blending as the class created their version of a beautiful nighttime sky scape with a moon over a streaming river. The results were spectacular. I highly recommend this product and will be using it more and more.

As an artist, I am always experimenting with a variety of media. This latest venture with soft pastels by Artist's Loft has proven to be a successful investment. The colors are true and easy to blend, they cover the paper well plus there is minimal chalk dust. The quality is comparable to more expensive pastels.

The author of a self learning book that I have on Pastel painting, suggested that I should get this set of Pastels. I have started using them since I bought them, and I am very pleased with the ease with which I can paint and the multitude of colors in the set (so I can paint any kind of subject without having to mix my own colors).
