For perfect registration, this specialty platform uses high-grade magnets to hold Thinlits, Framelits and other chemically-etched, wafer-thin dies securely in place during cutting. It is designed with closely-aligned magnets for the strongest attraction, perfect for holding multiple dies in place to cute precise windows on cards, bags, boxes and more. The diagrams on the Magnetic Platform and its tabs offer easy guidelines about how to make the perfect Sizzix sandwich every time.

I have had my Sizzix Big Shot for over 10 years and use it everytime I craft. It finally wore out and I was so happy to be able to walk into my local Michael’s store and buy a replacement.

Big Shot Magnetic Platform
This is my third magnetic platform. I am an avid card maker/paper crafter. Not sure why or how I keep getting a hole (which means the metal pieces inside the platform fall out). Overall the unit is great and I’ve made thousands of cards, cupcake toppers and scrapbooks, over the years, just wish the platform didn’t break so easily.

Absolutely love the Magnetic Platform for my Big Kick. Was so happy to be able to get a new one from Michael's as I was afraid it would be discontinued since newer machines are coming out. I use die-cuts several times a week and couldn't do without this.

Nice improvement for the better.
I've been using my Big Shot machine for the last 10 years and needed to replace the adapter/platform and cutting pads. When I received this magnetic platform I noticed it was a bit different. I really love that my die cuts stay on the platform because it's magnetic. It's a nice update to my old adapter that really was falling apart.

Sissix Magnetic Platform - A real time saver!!

After my long search!!!!

I LOVE this thing!!!
I think pretty much anyone that has work with die cutting has had a project ruined due to shifting dies while cutting. This big guy holds them in place and you don't have to worry about anything moving or trying to crawl away when you run it thru the die cutting machine. Yea, it's AWESOME!!! I highly recommend it to crafters of all kinds. Well worth the cost.
