ribbon mesh fall wreath
Step 1 |
Cut the chenille pipe cleaners in half. Set aside. |
Step 2 |
Twist a chenille pipe cleaner around the end of the ribbon mesh, attach it to the middle section of the wire form. Make a poof with the mesh, add another chenille pipe cleaner after the poof, attach it to the middle section of the wire form. Continue to bunch, poof and attach the mesh to the wire form working around the wreath form until you reach the beginning poof. |
Step 3 |
Cut 10” [25.4 cm] of the small ribbons you want to use on your wreath. |
Step 4 |
Fold the ribbons in half lengthwise. Cutting upwards toward the outer edges at an angle, this will make the V-shape end. Set aside. |
Step 5 |
Weave the wider ribbon through the wreath. Use the image as your guide. |
Step 6 |
Lay the cut ribbons out and twist with a chenille pipe cleaner. Place the twisted ribbons onto the wreath and twist tight to the wire form. Repeat until desired look. |
Step 7 |
