pom-pom snowballs
Step 1 |
First, cut about 10" [25.4 cm] of yarn from your first skein and stretch it out on your working surface in front of you. |
Step 2 |
Now, take the yarn end directly from the skein and wrap it around your hand 30-50 times, depending on the thickness of the yarn. Cut the yarn to detach from the skein. Carefully slide the loops from your hand. |
Step 3 |
Lay the loops on top of the stretched-out yarn piece from Step 1. Tie the yarn piece around the outside of the loops, in the middle, and tie in a double knot. |
Step 4 |
Cut open the loops on both sides of the knot to create your pom-pom. |
Step 5 |
Shape your pom-pom into a nice, round snowball shape with scissors. |
