I found that as my candle cooled.i could tell where it was at in the process as the wax freed from the sides without using mold release. However, I have had a little bit of trouble getting the bottom to release.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice, basic pillar candle form Pouring a candle in a simple form like this one is sooooo much cleaner than some of these more convoluted shapes. It burns much more cleanly and evenly with no spillover so long as you make sure your wick is centered and tight when you pour your wax.
