multi-layer turquoise necklace
Step 1 |
Cut three 48" [121.9 cm] pieces of transit cord. |
Step 2 |
Align them all so the ends are even. Fold them in half and attach them to a closed jump ring with a lark’s head knot. Add a dab of glue over the lark’s head knot, then slide a turquoise heishi stone and metal lentil bead onto all of the cords. Push beads up to the knot. |
Step 3 |
Hold two cords together and string turquoise nuggets onto both cords. Add a bead bug to the end to hold beads in place. |
Step 4 |
String assorted shapes and sizes of turquoise beads onto the four individual cords. Mix in metal beads as an accent. |
Step 5 |
Thread all ends through a metal lentil bead and a turquoise heishi stone. Pull cords taut and tie them to a closed jump ring. Add a dab of glue to the knot, tuck excess cord into the first several beads until hidden. Trim excess cord. |
Step 6 |
Add a large lobster clasp to one side. |
