miyuki bead serape earrings
Step 1 |
Thread a beading needle on a 96" [243.8 cm] length of bead thread. |
Step 2 |
Brick stitch Miyuki beads around your metal circle. Leave a beginning tail that is about 6" [15.24 cm] long. |
Step 3 |
When you make your way around to the beginning, thread through your first bead and start another round of brick stitched beads around the first. |
Step 4 |
For the last row, repeat Step 3 around the second row until you get two beads from the first in this third row. |
Step 5 |
Add one bead onto your needle and thread, then add the loop at the bottom of a fishhook earring, and finally another bead. Now, work your needle through the first bead of the third row. |
Step 6 |
Weave your working thread through beads until you get next to your starting tail. Tie a knot. Weave the ends into adjacent beads and trim excess thread. |
Step 7 |
Add a dab of glue to the knot and the thread across the back that wraps around the metal circle. Let dry. |
Step 8 |
Repeat Steps 1-7 for a second earring. |
