Step 1 |
Trace the outside rim of a Mason jar lid on a piece of felt and cut out the shape. |
Step 2 |
Remove the rim and lay the felt over the lid. Tuck some batting under the felt making a small puff for a pin cushion. Use a small amount of hot glue to attach the felt to the lid. Next, use a small amount of hot glue to attach the felted lid to the rim. |
Step 3 |
Cut out a tiny heart and glue it on for a sweet embellishment to the felt pin cushion top. |
Step 4 |
Fill the jar with embroidery floss and thimbles. Open a pack of needles and place a few on the top of the pin cushion and then place the rest of the needles in the jar. Screw the lid |
Step 5 |
Set two small embroidery hoops over the jar and tuck in a pair of embroidery scissors. |
Step 6 |
To finish, wrap a ribbon around the rim and tie a bow. |
