Pre-stretch your silk cord and tie an overhand knot in the end, opposite the needle, about 4" [10.16 cm] from the end. |
Step 2 |
String on your beads following this pattern: (1) seed bead (1) marker bead (1) seed bead, (5) 6mm Beads, (1) seed bead, (1) marker bead, (1) seed bead, (13) 6mm beads, (1) seed bead, (1) marker bead, (1) seed bead, (32) 6mm beads, (1) seed bead, (1) marker bead and (1) seed bead. |
Step 3 |
String the rest of the necklace reversing the pattern: (1) seed bead, (1) marker bead, (1) seed bead, (32) 6mm beads, (1) seed bead, (1) marker bead, (1) seed bead, (13) 6mm beads, (1) seed bead, (1) marker bead, (1) seed bead, (5) 6mm beads, (1) seed bead, (1) marker bead and (1) seed bead. |
Step 4 |
Follow the instructions included with the knotter tool to knot between all of the beads on your necklace. Treat the (1) seed bead. (1) marker bead and (1) seed bead as one unit. |
Step 5 |
Now, thread one more seed bead, then the pendant onto the silk cord. Use a big eye needle to thread a seed bead onto the short side of the silk. |
Step 6 |
Use an overhand knot to tie the two ends of the silk cord together under the pendant. Use a tiny dab of glue to seal the knot. Allow to dry and trim the ends. |
