When increased flow and absorption and decreased film tension and friction are important, this fluid additive is an artist's best friend. It improves the flow, absorption and blending of any water-soluble paint, medium, ink or dye while simultaneously minimizing brush marks and reducing the friction of paint. On non-absorbent surfaces, it increases fluidity and open time, and on absorbent surfaces, it acts as a stain, dye or watercolor when use with acrylic colours.

  • 4 fl. oz. (118 ml) jar
  • Do not use undiluted
  • For use with water-based mediums

I recently started painting by number kits and the paint doesn’t spread very well, it’s thick and I kept running out of the paint. Then I was recommended trying liquitex flow aid. It is amazing! It helps thin the paint so it spreads well but doesn’t dilute the color the way water would. It really does make it flow across the canvas. This is my number 1 recommended product.
