Liquitex is an excellent brand with a large variety of acrylic paints, inks, and markers in many lovely colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This man knows a good product when he sees one My son is an impressionist painter, I am writing this review for him. He is almost nonverbal and his speech is unreliable, but I know that Liquitex helps him "talk" through his paintings. One day he came up to me with a piece of paper on it that said Liquitex Basics. I said "who taught you this?" we immediately went to Michael's and from that day forward, he rarely uses Apple Barrel--- he loves Liquitex and the way it dries and lets him touch his paintings with texture.
