not what I needed
This item likely works well, but I returned it as it wasn't well suited to my purposes. punching holes in leather to make notebook covers which were too deep for this product to be effective. I went for a more flexible single shaft punch which offers more versatile placement.

Doesn't work
This "Leather" punch doesn't cut through leather. Try it at your own risk but keep the receipt so you can return it when it fails.

Looks are deceiving
I got this because it was less expensive than another one that looked a lot fancier. Well, looks can be deceiving and you don't always get what you pay for. This hole punch is very solid and punches the holes easily. It also came with a small wrench I didn't see in the fancier one for pulling the punchers for sharpening. Word to the wise. Fancier doesn't always mean better.
