This project is intended for kids ages 3+. This cute Easter Egg is fun to make with watercolours and crayons. Add a personal touch and hang them up to decorate.

Print Project

Step 1

First, click here to download and print the template; then cut out the shape. Set aside.

Step 2

On a piece of watercolour paper, draw straight lines, wavy lines and other shapes using the crayons.

Step 3

Paint over the entire piece of paper using the watercolours. Vary the colours as you go down the paper. Let dry.

Step 4

Trace around the egg pattern onto the painted paper and cut out the shape.

Step 5

Glue the egg onto a piece of construction paper using a glue stick.
