These jars are great but...
So I had just ordered 4 of these jars and they are great but ..when i opened them only 3 survived shipping. One is shattered.

I use for pickling and it works great
I found one of these in the micheals near me a few months ago, the air tight seal and decent size surprised me it was less than 20$,I pickle eggs in it and it works like a charm,I can fit roughly 10-12 eggs in it on top of the brine and other ingredients

Near perfect....
I like the quality of this jar. It worked great for a "blessings" jar filled with little notes. The complaint I have about this is the lid latch. Maybe it was the particular one I purchased, but the latch was quite difficult to pull up and push down.

Great For Unique Decor
I used these as part of the display items in a interlocking bathroom floating shadow box set. I used bowl fillers with seasonal items (fall and winter/Christmas dried florals, etc.) to fill the jar, and ribbon with straw bows to complete the outside design. They came out better then expected, and I won't see this exact arrangement in anyone else's home.
I appreciate finding an affordable receptacle to create a unique design element in my powder room.

I like the locking top which is attached
The square jar shape makes for a better shelf fit like on mantles and book shelves. It seems to hold more than round jars.
