halloween crochet amigurumi candy corn

This little DIY cutie is the perfect beginner project if you want to take a shot at Amigurumi. You will work in continuous rounds, which makes it a super easy project!
Step 1

With A, ch 2.

Rnd 1: Work 4 sc in the first ch.

Rnd 2: Work 2 sc in each st around (8 sts).

Rnd 3: Sc in each st around (8 sts).

Rnd 4: *2 sc in next the st, sc in the next st; then rep from * around (12 sts).

Rnd 5: Sc in each st around (12 sts).

Rnd 6: *2 sc in the next st, sc in each of the next 2 sts; then rep from * around (16 sts).

Change to B.

Rnd 7: Sc in each st around (16 sts).

Rnd 8: *2 sc in the next st, sc in each of the next 3 sts; then rep from * around (20 sts).

Rnd 9: Sc in each st around (20 sts).

Rnd 10: *2 sc in the next st, sc in each of the next 4 sts; then rep from * around (24 sts).

Rnd 11: Sc in each st around (24 sts).

Change to C.

Rnds 12-16: Sc in each st around (24 sts). Fasten off.


Step 2

FINISHING Lightly stuff your crochet candy corn. Sew the lower edge closed with a large-eye plastic needle and yellow yarn; then weave in ends.


FINISHED SIZE:
About 3" (7.5 cm)
