Fill the openings of pre-cut wood pendants with vibrant UV resin and add a pair of fishhook ear wires to make these Geometric Wood Resin Earrings in minutes!

Print Project

Step 1

Cut a piece of resin tape that is a little larger than your geometric pendant, lay it on your working surface facing so the sticky side is facing up and place your pendant on top. Press your pendant firming onto the tape so the edges are secure. Do this for your second pendant as well.
TIP: Be careful to not touch the tape where your pendant will lay to avoid fingerprints.

Step 2

Now, pour a small amount of UV resin into the silicone cups included in your missing kit. Add a drop of resin dye and mix well.
TIP: Start with one drop of dye and mix for a translucent colour. If you want more colour, add another drop.

Step 3

Pour resin into the open spaces of your pendant.
TIP: Be careful not to overfill. You can always add more if needed.

Step 4

Set your UV lamp over your pendants and heat.
TIP: If your resin is still sticky after one time cycle, heat again. You can also set your pendant in direct sunlight for about 15-20 minutes to cure.

Step 5

Remove your pendants from the tape.

Step 6

Add a fishhook ear wire to the top loop of your pendants with a jump ring.
TIP: To open and close a jump ring, simply grasp the jump ring on both sides with chain nose pliers and twist the ring open, from side-to-side. Never pull the jump ring which can cause distortion.
