It is certainly a cutting mat
Does what is expected of it- overall good quality. I enjoy that it has measurement markers and the size is nice and manageable for smaller pieces.

Good mat, bad sticker (II)
I agree with the previous reviewer who said the sticker would not come off the mat easily. I had to use harsh chemicals to remove the sticker. This should not be necessary. Docked the mat 2 stars in the review because of this.

Good mat, Bad Sticker!
Good small cutting surface for a compact crafting setup. Unfortunately, the branding sticker on the front leaves a sticky residue that is difficult to remove. Not great for a crafting surface! Once removed (a lot of elbow grease and hot water), this is fine.

Fiskars Cutting Mats - a cut above the rest.
It is a great cutting mat. I actually bought 2 different models at 2 different times. I preferred the double sided mat over the single sided mat. However, they both work great. I have one at work and one at home. Both are used when I cut materials for work as a school librarian.
