fall and halloween transitional wreath

Make a wreath that will impress your neighbors with simplicity but also will transition from Fall to Halloween. This wispy base is perfect to spray paint and embellish.
Step 1

In a well-ventilated area, spray paint the wreath base until most of it is black. Let dry.

Step 2

Bend a Eucalyptus stem around the wreath interior and use wire to hold it in place. Cut off the remaining stem and discard.

Step 3

Cut apart a small bush with purple accents and hot glue (or wire) the individual stems around the base. Layer in with the Eucalyptus.

Step 4

Tie a thin ribbon that casually drapes down the center of the wreath.
TIP: If desired, seal the wreath to make it moisture-resistant and UV-resistant.
