embossed winter wood crate
Step 1 |
Place the crate on a drop cloth (or cardboard) to prevent paint from getting on your table. |
Step 2 |
Use a wide angled brush to paint the outside and inside of the crate. Apply one thick coat and let dry. |
Step 3 |
Once the crate is dry turn it to the side you want to work on first. Draw a simple Scandi inspired patten on the crate with a pencil and then go over it with the Dimensional Magic. Let dry for 24 hours before turning it to another side to repeat the pattern(s). Repeat for each side of your crate. |
Step 4 |
Now, add a second coat of paint to the crate to create an embossed look with your dimensional patterns. Let dry. |
Step 5 |
Wrap the crate handles with yarn. |
Step 6 |
Finish the crate by adding some felt to the bottom to finish the base and provide a soft insert to keep its contents clean. |
