Print Project

Step 1

MEASUREMENTS: Approx 11" [28 cm] tall

GAUGE: 12 sc and 12 rows = 4" [10 cm]


Step 2

INSTRUCTIONS:

Note: Safety eyes and nose may pose a choking hazard. For ages 6 and under, you may substitute a small quantity of black yarn to embroider eyes and nose as an alternative.

Body With MC, begin using magic loop method.
1st Rnd: Ch 1. 10 sc in magic loop. Join with sl st to first sc.
2nd Rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in each st around. Join with sl st to first sc. 20 sc.
3rd Rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each st around. Join with sl st to first sc.
4th Rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. *1 sc in next sc. 2 sc in next sc. Rep from * to last st. 1 sc in last sc. Join with sl st to first sc. 30 sc.
5th – 11th Rnds: As 3rd rnd.
12th Rnd: Ch 1. *Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 25 sc.
13th Rnd: As 3rd rnd.
14th Rnd: Ch 1. *Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 20 sc.
15th Rnd: As 3rd rnd.
16th Rnd: Ch 1. *Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 15 sc.
17th – 19th Rnds: As 3rd rnd. Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Stuff, leaving top open.

Snout:

With A, ch 5.
1st Rnd: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. 2 sc in next ch.  Working into opposite side of ch, 1 sc in each of next 3 ch. 2 sc in last ch. Join with sl st to first sc. 10 sc.
2nd Rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. 20 sc.
3rd Rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Add safety nose, as pictured.

Head:

With MC, begin using magic loop.
1st Rnd: Ch 1. 8 sc in magic loop. Join with sl st to first sc.
2nd Rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in each sc around. Join with sl st to first st. 16 sc.
3rd Rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. *1 sc in next sc. 2 sc in next sc. Rep from * to last st. 1 sc in last sc. Join with sl st to first sc. 24 sc.
4th Rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. *1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 2 sc in next sc. Rep from * to last st. 1 sc in last sc. Join with sl st to first sc. 32 sc.
5th Rnd: Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. *1 sc in each of next 3 sc. 2 sc in next sc. Rep from * to last st. 1 sc in last sc. Join with sl st to first sc. 40 sc.
6th-13th Rnds: Ch 1. 1 sc in each st. around. Join with sl st to first sc.
14th Rnd: Ch 1. *Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 32 sc.
15th Rnd: As 6th rnd.
16th Rnd: Ch 1. *Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 24 sc.
17th Rnd: As 6th rnd.
18th Rnd: Ch 1. *Sc2tog. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 16 sc.
19th Rnd: As 6th rnd.  Sew on Snout, stuffing lightly as you work. Attach safety eyes.
20th Rnd: Ch 1. *Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 12 sc.
21st Rnd: Ch 1. *Sc2tog. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc.
Fasten off leaving a long end. Draw end tightly through rem sts and fasten securely.  Sew to body as pictured.

Arms (Make 2):

With MC, begin using magic loop.
1st Rnd: Ch 1. 10 sc in magic loop. Work in continuous rnds without joining with sl st, and omitting starting ch at beg of rnd.
2nd-7th Rnds: 1 sc in each sc around.
8th Rnd: (Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 3 sc) twice.
9th
