Step 1 |
Measure and cut 48" [121.9 cm] of clear transite cord. Attach to the loop on the oval piece of a toggle set with a lark’s head knot. The two ends hanging from the connector should be even in length. |

Measure and cut 84" [213.4 cm] of leather cord. Attach to the same loop on the oval piece of a toggle set with a lark’s head knot (over the transite). The two ends hanging from the connector should be even in length. |
Step 3 |
Determine stone and bead order, or pattern, you like then thread onto the transite. |
Step 4 |
Tie a square knot in the cord against the lark’s head knot on the toggle. To make a square knot: |
Step 5 |
Move the first bead up against the square knot and make another square knot below the bead with the cord. |
Step 6 |
Move the next bead up against the square knot and make another square knot below the bead with the cord. Repeat to the end of your leather or until you reached the desired length. |
Step 7 |
Tie the transite ends to the loop on the bar piece of the toggle set in a secure knot. Add a generous amount of glue to the knot and set aside to dry. |
Step 8 |
Attach an aluminum circle blank to the steel block with masking tape. Insert the ball pin hammered attachment into the handle and strike the blank over and over until you are happy with the hammered look. |
Step 9 |
Attach to the hammered circle, as well as other desired charms, to the oval toggle piece with jump rings. |
