I recently crocheted a basket with Bernat blanket yarn. The sides were not quite firm enough to stand on its own. After contemplating how to fix this issue i went to Michaels and found the dowels. I did have to cut them to fit my basket but they worked splendidly!!

Please with the product but not the price
I had randomly decided that I wanted to start making wands, so I went on the hunt for small dowel rods. I had found these at Michael's and was excited to begin my journey. However, I quickly realized that for the price of four (4) rods, I can go to a few "BIG BOX" stores, and purchase ten (10) dowl rods for the same price... or even cheaper. However, to get me rolling in my wand making business, these dowl rods were great. They are plenty thick enough and sturdy enough. Overall, I am pleased with the product, but not the price.
