french chateau wedding bouquet
Step 1 |
First, cut the stems off each bush as close to the base as possible. |
Step 2 |
This bouquet will be built in your hand. Determine which flowers you want to be focal and place them in front facing you. |
Step 3 |
Continue to add flowers to your hand as you build a bundle. Keep in mind the front is facing you, but the bouquet will be seen from all angles. Some stems will need to be slightly bent so they help create this round shape. Add in some taller and daintier floral accents to help create movement to finish the look. |
Step 4 |
Once you have a bundle you like, wrap the stems with wire and twist to hold. Cover the wire with layers of floral tape. |
Step 5 |
Trim all the stems to one length with a wire cutter. |
Step 6 |
Choose three ribbons you would like to accent your bouquet. Layer the ribbons and wrap around the stems overlapping, making an "X", from top to bottom and back up to the top. Tie a double knot to secure and leave the tails long. |
