Looks good from afar
I've bought this item at full price and on sale for half price. Unfortunately, both price points were not worth it, due to numerous chips and scratches on the frames. Any small touch will scrape off the paint. I make shadow box art for purchase - and I definitely cannot sell these with paint missing. You can't see it as clearly in far-away pictures, but it's actually very noticeable.

These are the cheapest frames I have ever purchased. The plastic bends before you even get the picture in it.

Very poorly made
Sorry but these are just not worth buying. Many of them have scuffs on the frame, and the back mating is curled on several - and the fixtures on some are broken ...a really poorly made product and not worth the money.

Shadowbox frames
I found these frames to be a good value and have a nice appearance. On the negative reviews I really don't know what some expect. The frame itself is some type of plastic or composite. The backing is heavy cardboard. I like that the back can be opened multiple times, it doesn't have the metal tabs that can break off having to open it multiple times. It has tabs that turn into notches. The four pack every frame has cardboard on all four corners, than the entire pack has cardboard over all four frames wrapped in cellophane. I use them for my Disney collectibles with scrapbooking embellishments. If a mark gets on the white frame it wipes off easily. As I said good value, nice appearance. I'm not hanging them in the Louvre.

cheap, tacky dollar store quality
I bought 4 sets of these and they are complete trash so I returned them. They are entirely plastic with a plastic front, big open seems down the sides where two pieces of plastic are put together and the backing is also plastic. These are exactly what I'd expect to find at the dollar tree for $1.25. they are definitely not even worth the buy 1 get 1 free price. Definitely aren't suitable for resale crafts. Pack i had opened were smashed on the corner. Wish I'd taken pics to show. Don't buy.

Great Quality for the price!
4 frames/shadowboxes are included in this set and it's a great and wonderful value! Shadowboxes used to be so terribly expensive but not any longer! I have 11 of them hanging in my home office with hopes of at least 9 more definitely to go!
