resin beach canvas
Step 1 |
Tape off the top third of the canvas. Starting at the top with Wicker White, begin to blend the white with Ocean View as shown in photo. Remove tape and let dry. |
Step 2 |
Once the sky has dried, tape off the bottom two thirds of the canvas and begin blending the True Blue into the Ocean View. Remove tape and let dry. |
Step 3 |
Paint the sand on the bottom third of the canvas with Linen. |
Step 4 |
Mix resin with craft sticks in disposable cups according to package instructions. |
Step 5 |
On a protected work surface, prop the canvas up on a few overturned cups to allow the resin to drip off of the canvas instead of pooling around it. |
Step 6 |
Pour Mod Podge® resin over canvas and add glass, shells, crushed shells and sand over the sand painted on canvas. Let dry. |
Step 7 |
Repeat Steps 4-6 until resin covers the sand and shells. It may take several coats. Use a heat gun to release any bubbles from the resin. Let dry. |
