Step 1 |
First, click here to download and print the template, then cut out the shapes for the desired design. |
Step 2 |
Use a chalk pencil to trace the shapes onto felt and cut out the pieces. |
Step 3 |
Use hot glue to assemble the pennant. |
Step 4 |
Paint two smaller wood beads with black chalk paint and two larger ones with white chalky paint. Let dry. |
Step 5 |
Cut a 10" [25.4 cm] piece of ribbon from each spool, align the ends so they are even. |
Step 6 |
Cut another 10” [25.4 cm] piece of white ribbon and tie around the middle of the ribbon pieces cut in Step 5. Tie in a double knot to secure. |
Step 7 |
Use the tails from the white ribbon tied around the group of ribbons to thread through a large white bead. Double knot then arrange the knot so it is hidden inside the large wood bead to complete your tassel. |
Step 8 |
Tie the tassel(s) to the bottom of your pennant. |
Step 9 |
Cut a 10" [25.4 cm] piece of black/white striped ribbon. Thread two black beads onto the ribbon piece. |
Step 10 |
Thread the black/white stripe ribbon ends through the holes at the top of the pennant and tie on the back. |
