Just add water, mix and sculpt. This sculpting material sets rapidly and adheres to any armature or surface. Great DIY Project
I used it to make a sculptural pattern on some oversized canvases that I had. I contemplated between trying plaster or using mache, and I think mache was the way to go. It took me a bit to find the right consistency that I wanted to work with, but it ended up looking great. I now have some beautiful, custom art pieces in my living room.
I would be careful when opening the package and during initial mixing. The mache powder and debris isn't great and can get everywhere. It's easy to clean, but I had a layer of dust everywhere. You also don't want to be breathing it in.
