easter cupcakes
Step 1 |
Line a 12-cup muffin pan with cupcake liners. |
Step 2 |
Follow the cake mix directions to make cupcakes. |
Step 3 |
Fill only 2/3 full to avoid spilling over the sides, then bake at 350° [176°C] for 19-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Allow cupcakes to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan to cool completely. |
Step 4 |
Mix icing with icing colour to make each shade for decorating. Dip a toothpick into the icing colour and mix well with the white frosting. |
Step 5 |
Fill eight bags of frosting, one bag for each colour and a decorating tip# M1. |
Step 6 |
Pipe frosting onto each cupcake and top with sprinkles. |
