Worst spray paint I’ve ever used.
I’ve been working with spray paint for many years. I love it for its ease of use. For my most recent project this brand was the only one to sell the colour oil needed so I decided to give it a shot. It says it can be used on any paintable surface. I am using it to cover 4 small chair frames. I used their primer first, which apparently was a huge mistake. It has taken me NINE cans of spray paint to cover the 4 small chairs. Something that should have taken 1 can per chair, I’m now at 2 1/4 cans per chair and the primer is still shining through. Some spots I’ve put upwards of 20 coats of paint and you can still see the primer. I am less than impressed. The 4 chairs are now junk because at this point I refuse to buy any more cans of paint but the chairs are still splotchy and unfinished.
The sprayer is also so hard to depress to the point my hand cramps after only a couple minutes of spraying.
And then there’s the smell. It is soooooo strong. Even wearing a mask I can still smell it. It smells terrible, to the point it gives me a headache and makes me gag.
Do yourself a favour and choose any other brand of paint, it has to be better than this.
