Step 1 |
ADULT: On upcycled carton side, draw an outline for an opening with a marker on both the front and back side. You will want the window opening to be in the middle from left to right and top and bottom. Use scissors to cut openings. |
Step 2 |
ADULT: On the left and right sides of carton, draw an outline for a wing-shaped flap. Cut along outline, leaving top of wing intact. |
Step 3 |
Paint beak, wings and bird body. Dry 1-2 hours and add second coat. |
Step 4 |
Paint eyes above beak. Dry 1-2 hours. |
Step 5 |
ADULT: Hole punch top of carton. Feed twine through hole and tie ends into a knot. |
