Not a Happy Customer
I had read many reviews before buying these pencils. Most of them were average reviews. I figured I would take the chance as I was low on funds and couldn't buy my normal brand. I am highly disappointed! The colors are broken almost all the way through the pencil. It takes a lot of coats to get the color you "think" you're using. Using them as a watercolor pencil is somewhat better.. The picture below is one hour of coloring, or should I say 15 minutes of coloring and the rest trying to sharpen the pencil. Instead of "relaxing" me it frustrated me to no end. Every time I would sharpen a pencil, the color broke. So I do not recommend these pencils whatsoever. The price is great but the quality leaves a lot to be desired.

Terrible for artists
These aren’t pigmented enough and don’t blend very well. The black is more like a gray and a lot of colors are at least 3 shades lighter than you’d think they are. Some of the points are hard and some are soft. The inconsistency in graphite texture makes it hard to blend and instead you get a blotchy uneven mess. Some of the points are so hard that it’ll start to tear the paper if you try to get more pigment out of it. Many of the colors are hardly any different from one another. C’mon Michaels why are you putting out janky products?

Awful!
These pencils are very waxy and don't blend well at all. You can't even try to lighten the color by using less pressure; it seems to be one solid color with no transitioning or room for contrast. Color correction is also out of the question with these.
I tend to use all different brands of pencils for my art such as; Prismacolor, Crayola, Cra-Z-art and Faber Castell and I have no issues using any one of these for shading or contrast

these colored pencils are trash and bad quality
I tried to color with these colored pencils, but it was IMPOSSIBLE because the led kept breaking. How are you supposed to color with no led? I will be throwing these away because they are not worth buying, so if you buy them you are wasting your money. Will not be purchasing from this brand again. PERIODT POOH

These are trash
This product was really disappointing. Someone gave these to me in my birthday a few days ago and I started using them today. The lead is very soft and the point dulls very quickly, the only way i could draw without burning through the lead was to color very lightly. Few of the colors are vibrant but most of them are very dull and don't match the color of the pencils stem color. I also noticed that in coloring with some of the colors tiny pieces would tend to break off the lead. The price is way too high for product that doesn't even work. Even the crayola colored pencils are way better than these. Love Michaels just not this product.Definitley wouldn't recommend this product. Don't waste your money on this.

Granddaughter loves these!
I bought these pencils for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is just becoming interested in art and loves to color with these pencils. They are so smooth and easy to use.

They are awful
They are the worst color Pencils I have ever had. It only comes with one red and like 4 oranges and greens. The lead breaks so easily that I have to sharpen them every 10 seconds. I would NEVER recommend them!

Lots of colors to choose from & pretty good price
I feel like it’s a good pack of colors for that price if you just need color pencils for school or coloring, but if you looking for vivid quality I wouldn’t recommend this type of colors
