First, click here to download and print the template; then cut out the shapes. |
Step 2 |
Lay the flag-shaped template on the felt (red and white), draw around the template with a pen (or marker) and cut out. You will need to trace and cut two red flags and one white flag. |
Step 3 |
Trace and cut out maple leaves (red ones for the white banners and white ones for the red banners). Glue the maple leaves onto the banners. Let dry. |
Step 4 |
Decorate each banner using red and white glitter glue. Let dry. |
Step 5 |
ADULT: Punch a hole at the top corner of each banner piece. |
Step 6 |
Cut a piece of white yarn long enough for all your banner pieces to fit, plus extra to hang the banner. Thread the yarn through the holes, alternating red and white. |
