Step 2 |
Lay the flag-shaped template on the felt (red and white), draw around the template with a pen (or marker) and cut out. You will need to trace and cut two red flags and one white flag. |
Step 3 |
Trace and cut out maple leaves (red ones for the white banners and white ones for the red banners). Glue the maple leaves onto the banners. Let dry. |
Step 4 |
Decorate each banner using red and white glitter glue. Let dry. |
Step 5 |
ADULT: Punch a hole at the top corner of each banner piece. |
Step 6 |
Cut a piece of white yarn long enough for all your banner pieces to fit, plus extra to hang the banner. Thread the yarn through the holes, alternating red and white. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
