boho seed bead hoop earrings

Use an assortment of seed beads shapes and sides to create a unique pair of Boho Seed Bead Hoop Earrings.
Step 1

Make sure two of the large jump rings are closed and add a dab of glue over the seam. Let dry, then set one aside.

Step 2

Brick stitch eight white 6/0 seed beads along the bottom of each one of the two large jump rings with a needle and weaving thread.

Step 3

Turn your work so you are working up and from left to right. Add a turquoise 11/0 and Copper superduo bead to your needle, slide it under the thread bridge of the first two 6/0 beads from previous row, then pull through until your beads sit on top of the previous row. Now, run your needle back up the 11/0 turquoise bead, from the bottom through the top, and pull thread tight. Run your needle through the bottom hole of the superduo bead.

Step 4

Add a 11/0 turquoise seed bead to your needle, run it under the same thread bridge as in Step 3 (but to the right of the superduo), pull tight, run your needle back up through the bead and pull tight so it sits on top of the previous row.

Step 5

Add a superduo and a 11/0 seed bead to your needle and run it through the next thread bridge. Pull tight, then run your needle back up through the 11/0 bead and pull tight so it sits on top of the previous row.

Step 6

Repeat Step 5 across until you have eight superduos and nine 11/0 seed beads on this row.
TIP: You will have to double up one thread bridge towards the end of the row.

Step 7

Turn your work and thread your needle through the top hole of your first superduo, add another superduo, then through the top hole of your second superduo. Pull tight.

Step 8

Add a 6/0 seed bead and run your needle and thread through the top hole in the next superduo.

Step 9

Repeat Steps 7-8 across the row.

Step 10

Turn your work. Run your needle and thread through the first three superduo beads. Add five 11/0 seed beads, skip over the top of the 6/0 bead from the previous row. Repeat two more times across the rest of the row.

Step 11

Run the ends through adjacent beads several times then tie as close to a bead as possible. Add a dab of glue to the knot, let dry, then trim excess thread.

Step 12

Cut four small pieces of thin wire. Wire wrap the beaded jump ring to the top, inside curve of a teardrop earring, as shown. Hide the seam of the large jump ring under a wire wrap.

Step 13

Repeat Steps 2-12 for a second earring.
