I like them for road trips, picnics, & boating.
When we travel, I put juice, milk, or homemade coffee drinks in these bottles instead of paying obscenely high prices at gas station/convenience stores. I make the drinks exactly the way we like them and save a ton of money doing it. I do the same thing when we go on our boat or a picnic. When we get home, I put them in the dishwasher and the covers go in the silverware rack; they come out perfectly clean. The only negative thing about these bottles is that the caps leak if the bottles tip over, so I usea piece of plastic cling wrap to cover the mouth of the bottle, then screw on the cap over that and there's never a leak. If you lose a cap or two, Michaels sells replacement caps separately.
