One of the things that I appreciate about this product is how easy it is to use. The fluid is smooth and easy to mix with oil paints, and it dries to a nice finish without any visible brush strokes. The paint also dries relatively quickly, which is great if you're working on a time-sensitive project.
Another aspect of Gamblin Solvent-Free Fluid that I like is that it doesn't have a strong smell like some solvent-based mediums. This makes it much more pleasant to work with, and you don't have to worry about any harmful fumes.
In terms of the results, this medium does an excellent job of improving the consistency and flow of oil paints. It also helps to extend the drying time of the paint, allowing you to work on your piece for a longer period without worrying about the paint drying too quickly.

10/10 I wish every oil painter used this
I’ve been using this for years. It’s been a literal life saver after becoming very sensitive to solvents. This medium speeds up drying and helps with the flow of your paint. Honestly, I wouldn’t go back to a product that contains solvents at this point, even if my sensitivities magically disappeared. I’d stick to this.

Gamblin solvent free fluid
Even if you are not a novice paint by numbers virgin, don't touch this stuff, 5 month old underpainting gets lifted by basic linseed oil paint, destroys months of work, this fluid does NOT allow paint to become permanent and NOT worth the quick drying time when you spend days trying to fix the hell that it creates by opening up the underlayers. Just trying to do a light white shadow on royal blue opens up to greenish white!!!!!!! run far and fast from this solvent if you have any artistic value on a canvas.

I like the way this product works as a medium on moderately thick oil paint. I only gave 4 stars as I've only just received this product, and I have not tried it in all the applications that I normally use Gamblin mediums

Perfect for helping thick oils glide smoothly
I tried the gel type prior to this one and I really prefer this for giving the oils a bit more stretch and pliability
