Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent matte varnish This varnish is okay. I tried multiple brushes, including foam, and it left brush strokes on the canvas. Also, I used it on a ceramic coaster I painted and the paint kept smearing when I applied the varnish, even after letting it dry for days before applying varnish.
